Organization

As a network of volunteer designers and builders we aspire to maintain as non-hierarchical an organization as possible. Our volunteers are the most essential components of our organization- each person donates valuable time and skills towards our shared projects and goals. In order to maintain efficiency, we have organized ourselves into a board that oversees our mission, projects, communications and fund-raising. We have also created volunteer-staffed committees and project teams that promote and actuate our projects and activities. Additionally, our partner organizations are a fundamental part of our volunteer network. They provide and help us to maintain connections with the communities we serve.

2008 BOARD

Craig Webster, IN MEMORIAM
C.L. Webster Architects- Principal
University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, MArch 1978

Co-chair of AIA Seattle’s Disaster Preparedness and Response Committee and board member of Architects Without Borders-Seattle, Craig Webster gave freely of his time, talent, compassion and energy to assist people devastated by hurricane Katrina and here locally on community projects. A socially-minded architect, Craig was a trailblazer in his dedication to advancing architects as leaders and contributors to the community. His warm and enthusiastic personality, combined with his generosity and passion for others, was a gain in credibility for our profession and an incredible loss to our community.
