As a volunteer-based not-for-profit organization without membership fees, your support is vital in the progress we make. Organization Activities: In addition to project opportunities there are organizational needs to keep AWB functioning and meeting the needs of communities and providing project opportunities. If you would like to help out with these tasks, please contact Michael Gilbride.

Public Relations: Create and maintain positive relationships with various media outlets, create press kits, create and maintain media contact database, maintain and update the website, support other committees with graphic presentations.
Events Planning: Plan and organize events for such things as community awareness and inclusion, fundraising events, lectures, or AWB workdays.
Fundraising: Research possible donors, foster positive relationship with benefactors, convince people why we need support.
Membership Coordination: Establish and maintain membership database, membership relations, recruiting members, help to establish member benefits.

Committees
AWB currently has two committees that meet on a regular basis – Project Development and Outreach. Please contact the Committee Lead before attending for any schedule or location changes.
Project Development meets the first Wednesday of every month at 6pm at Berger Partnership (1721 8th Avenue N, Seattle, WA). Everyone is encouraged to attend. If you are interested please email Bray Hayden (She needs to know how many to expect).
Outreach Committe meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at Cafe Bella (2621 5th Ave – Seattle) to discuss connecting with other organizations, institutions and groups. RSVP to Roger Stocker.
