2009 Carve for a Cause
Thank you for your interest in our 2009 Carve for a Cause event. We hope you, your friends and family, and colleagues will be able to join us for a great night of pumpkin artistry judged by local designers!
The reception is at Design Within Reach at 1918 First Ave, and will run from 6-9pm with the Awards Ceremony at 7:30pm and the Pumpkin Auction shortly thereafter.
Whether you are submitting a pumpkin with your firm, or individually, or not submitting a pumpkin at all, you are welcome to join us and vote for the People’s Choice award and marvel at the creations. This year we will be auctioning off the pumpkins after the Award Ceremony, so it’s your chance to bid for your favorite pumpkin and have the best looking front porch, party centerpiece, or reception display around. Tup Tim Thai’s famous pad thai, yummy donuts from Mighty O, other appetizers, and wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Get into the Halloween spirit and support our mission to provide ecologically sensitive and culturally appropriate design assistance to communities in need!
