ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Will you be ready with the next earthquake strikes Seattle? To help promote earthquake awareness and readiness, AWB-Seattle hosted a design competition to change the way we think about earthquake preparedness in the Puget Sound area. Design teams proposed life-saving tools, methods, systems, and products to help our neighbors and community members get ready for the "big one."
These earthquake preparedness solutions were created and information was displayed at the 2016 Seattle Design Festival. Here's the competition brief our contestants used to spark creative earthquake preparedness solutions.
